Born in Bundaberg I always had a natural affinity to be creative at a very early age with putting on stuffed animal plays for my parents. During my childhood I participated in several plays and musicals in and outside of school. Also as school I studied art and photography, which captured my idea of keeping a moment for a lifetime rather than just a second. I kept taking photos at university while studing a Bachelor of Learning Management and had the privilege of being published by CQUniverstiy in their maganizeIdiom23 while I was completing my Bachelor of Performing Arts at the end of 2008 where three of my photos made the front cover. I now teach Drama and Dance at St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy and look forward to persuing my own artistic goals in photography and the performing arts.
