Tales of the Underground is three short plays about mining, in one night of live theatre.

Featured in the World Theatre Festival’s Scratch Series at the Brisbane Powerhouse in 2012, Tales of the Underground is now touring regional Queensland from Friday 22 June, until Saturday 30 June.

Tales of the Underground is written by three playwrights who worked in three ex-gold mining towns (Cracow, Mt Perry and Mt Morgan) as part of a playwriting residency, looking at the social impact of mining in Central Queensland.
