Elleni Toumpas is an emerging music photographer who currently shoots for Tsunami Magazine, Rave Magazine and music website FasterLouder. Her passion for documenting music history is inspired by the work of music photographers Ami Barwell, Brantley Gutierrez, and Dustin Rabin. Elleni has freelanced directly for local and international musicians, and has shot as lead photographer for music and arts festivals including LadyFest and the 2007 Queensland Poetry Festival. Her work has been published not only in Rave and Tsunami magazine, but also in Peak Street magazine and Drum Media Perth. Elleni will be mentored by photographer Russell Shakespeare and aims to strengthen her portrait photography and documentary skills, and also learn to create a sustainable arts practice.
