Professionally entering the arts industry in 2003, Brooke Newall has worked as an actor, singer, director, producer, writer, workshop facilitator and film & TV agent. Beginning her career in Launceston Tasmania as an actor and artistic director of PCYC Youth Theatre, Brooke has featured in a number of theatre productions, short films and TV commercials and directed children's musicals including The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (06) and Honk! (05).
Moving to Brisbane in 2007, Brooke now works for Backbone Youth Arts as a theatre facilitator, director and festival manager. She also teaches weekly classes in film and television performance for children and adults with V Management. At the beginning of 2008 Brooke created ZooKidz Acting & Modeling Agency in which she represented children aged 0-14 years in the film, TV and modeling industries. In July 08 Brooke directed Holidaze for the Backbone Youth Arts Spotlight Season at Metro Arts featuring a cast of talented youth aged 10-13 years. Her most recent industry credit is as Festival Manager for the 2high Festival 2008 at Brisbane Powerhouse.
Brooke is inspired by the unforgettable impact the arts has on young people. She continues to work in collaboration with them and aims to ignite creativity and encourage individuality.
