Sarah Keating is a writer, festival performer and artist. In recent years she has started to define her career in arts events organising and producing.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Creative Arts with a double major in Theatre and Creative Writing from Griffith University (2008 graduate) as well as experience working with The Woodford Theatre Company, the Woodford Folk Festival's Fire event, the Currumbin Swell Sculptural Festival and Backbone Youth Arts' 2High Festival.

Sarah has already begun work on her first major community event Yes This Is Art.

Sarah's ambitious goal is to build a stronger arts hub in the regional areas of South East Queensland. Supporting young and emerging artists, artist run initiatives' and DIY art culture.

Working with her mentor Brett Howe, Sarah will be using her YAMP placement to develop a Vaudeville Show incorporating the work of young and emerging visual artists, musicians and performers.
