Sian Evans is a vocalist, composer, multi-instrumentalist and performer. Having spent much of her experience delivering art to the community for a decade throughout classical and jazz oriented performances, she has now begun paving a career in the Australian music industry as a singer/songwriter. She has acquired a presence and personality for entertainment, supporting some industrious Australian artists in her practice.

With an analytical intellect, Sian thrives on the complexities of human behaviour and the simplicities of beauty in a philosophical shade. Moved by moments of magic, she is excited by the possibilities of rhyming sequences created through rolling vowels and syllabic rhythms.

Her lyrical poetry is carried via syrupy and often theatrical vocals and as a self-taught guitarist, she brings a unique finger picking technique to her articulated rhythm and bass driven style. Best depicted as a contemporary synthesis of folk-funk/gypsy jazz, her performance represents the evolving Australian blues and roots culture.
