- Submit your contributions either in the body of an email or as a Microsoft Word document attachment
- Follow the format of: title, 200 word copy, event details (what, when, where, how much, bookings, more information)
- Images cannot be included at this point in time
- PDF and JPG flyers cannot be considered

Our new eUpdate for Young Artists is a fortnightly online publication featuring opportunities for young and emerging artists and an events guide.

Lowdown Magazine
YAQ is the Queensland contributing editor for Lowdown Magazine, the national publication for youth performing arts in Australia. The Lowdown website features a Queensland section which promotes the diversity of practice, production and events across our state.
Including your youth arts activities in Lowdown gives you great exposure and enhances your profile. All you need to do is submit your media releases, articles and review suggestions to YAQ and we will work with you to develop a submission to Lowdown online.

YAQ and its programs receive financial assistance from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative. YAQ receives additional support from the Australia Council for the Arts, the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body, through the Opportunities for Young and Emerging Artist initiative for JUMP, the national mentoring program for young and emerging artists.
